In case you missed it, S&P Dow Jones Indices recently released the latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Indices report, which measures trends and data points related to home prices all across the U.S.
Over this past spring, the numbers suggest home prices throughout the country have continued to slow, while here in Tampa, we’re seeing some of the largest percentage increases for residential real estate prices.
As mentioned, Tampa, Las Vegas, and Phoenix registered the highest year-over-year gains among the 20 cities analyzed. Of the three, Las Vegas saw the highest home price increases, recording an 8.2 percent year-over-year spike. Phoenix saw the second-highest increase at 6.1 percent, and Tampa recorded a 5.3 percent jump in home prices.
