Hyde Park House CondosA new, 21-story condo tower along Bayshore Boulevard is reportedly moving forward, according to a new report out from the Tampa Bay Business Journal. 

Called Hyde Park House, West Palm Beach-based Kolter Group has already acquired the 1.2 acre site, which is between Howard and DeSoto avenues, and is planning for a 70-unit project even though current zoning allows for up to 90 units.

With the lower unit count, it’s projected that condos at Hyde Park House will start around $1 million and certainly include premium interior finishes throughout. 

Reps rom Kolter Group are also on record saying pre-sales for Hyde Park House residences could begin as early as the second or third quarter of next year.

WestShore Plaza ProjectA massive new development could be on the way for WestShore Plaza, which could include a number of new high-rises, office space, and even a big box grocery store. 

According to a recent report from the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the ownership group of WestShore Plaza is inquiring about a possible re-zoning the entire mall to make way for a huge redevelopment project that would occupy the property’s northeast corner. 

If approved, the project would replace Sears, plenty of unused surface parking lot space, and the Seasons 52 property as well. Also noted by the Business Journal was a brief breakdown of everything the redevelopment project would include, which is as follows: 

  • 200,000 square feet of office space
