Vintage homes in Tampa have an abundance of character, and there’s hardly something out there more charming that one of the many Craftsman-style bungalows that happen to be scattered all over town.
But just like most high-rise condos in Tampa tend to be situated downtown or somewhere along the waterfront, bungalows are also more common in certain neighborhoods around town. Seminole Heights
Easily one of our favorite neighborhoods in all of Tampa, Seminole Heights is loaded with homes, cottages, and bungalows dating back to the 1920s. The residential vibe all throughout the Seminole Heights neighborhood is pleasant and inviting, and you certainly won’t have to break the bank to buy a home here, only adding to its appeal and desirability.
Riverside Heights
People love living in Riverside Heights for its easy access and close proximity to downtown Tampa. But along with that, it’s also a neighborhood that’s full of great cottage and bungalow opportunities, some expensive, others a bit more reasonable. And with Riverside Heights also backing up to the Hillsborough River, you might also get lucky and find your dream home along the waterfront too!
Historic Hyde Park
As a community that’s been nationally designed a historic district, older homes and authentic bungalows are very common all over Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood. But also labeled one of the more sought-after locations to live in town, look for many homes for sale in Hyde Park to be a little more pricey than many other parts of town.
