Have you heard about the One in St. Petersburg yet? The newest to claim the title of the tallest condominium in the city, this St. Petersburg building is the newest downtown gem to get excited over. The demand has been huge for living and staying here with reservations far surpassing the project team’s expectations.
The 41-story building that is being built at First Street and First Avenue N is not only going to be the tallest in the city, it’s meeting a need for a luxury residence in the downtown waterfront near the best restaurants, museums, and shops that just isn’t being met. While people are also talking about the Salvador and the Bliss current progress, the One is all the rave right now. If you haven’t heard about the One yet, here is a look at what this luxury condominium is going to offer to the Tampa Bay.
About the One
The One is a 41-story condo tower being built in St. Petersburg’s thriving downtown that has everyone in the city talking. The condo tower will be 41 stories tall or 450 feet above First Street and First Avenue North. Along with being the tallest building in the city, it’s going to be the tallest in the Tampa Bay accommodating 253 luxury residences. Residents of the One will have access to a plethora of shopping, dining, and museums, as well as waterfront views and luxury living.
Along with the One, there will be a 13-story Hyatt hotel being built next door by the same developer, the Kolter Group of South Florida. It will be convenient for residents of the One to accommodate out-of-town guests or enjoy a staycation next door. The hotel is likely going to offer more dining options in the area too.
The downtown area is actually anticipating two more downtown condo propositions; one being the Bliss and on being the Salvador to be located near the Dali Museum. The Bliss will be off Beach Drive located at 176 Fourth Ave NE. Both of these buildings are under the care of Smith & Associates.
What to expect
The 253 luxury units have already had 104 reservations and the 80-90% of reservations required a $10,000 deposit. They expect many to convert to actual contracts too. Fortunately for buyers here, those that can buy early will get 10% off the total price and no condo association dues for a year.
You can expect 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units, along with the nine penthouses starting around $500k and going up to $3 million. Association fees will be about $1,000 per 2,000-square-foot unit.
Who is choosing the One? Mostly empty-nesters and current bay residents are making their reservation for the condo. Some are coming from the northeast and Midwest as well.
Along with the 253 condos and the nine penthouses, you can find 174 hotel rooms making it possible to enjoy the lifestyle of the One for a short stay. It has become the #1 seller in condos in the Tampa Bay, not only due to the luxury it offers, but of the nearby shopping and dining access.
Condo owners will get to enjoy panoramic views of the water through floor-to-ceiling windows, gourmet kitchens, outdoor living space and expansive balconies, as well as excellent amenities like the spa-like bathrooms. There will be options of designer finish packages and you’ll find everything from stainless steel appliances to quartz countertops.
You’ll notice amenities of the One like the 28’ high atrium lobby where you’ll be greeted and the 2nd floor owner’s lounge for access to the latest technology. Check out the elevated resort deck where you’ll enjoy the free-standing fitness complex overlooking the resort deck, a resort-style pool, a whirlpool and spa in a private setting, lounging and seating, and the overall social hub for mingling with other guests.
Club One is your access to a private bar, formal seating, and catering for your special events. You’ll find everything you could need from the full-service lobby bar to the elevated meeting rooms.
If you’re looking for the perfect place to live in the area, now is the time to reserve your spot at the One in St. Petersburg. It has everything you need, including the location and the killer views, all in the Tampa Bay.
