South Tampa is definitely where you'll find some of the city’s largest and most expensive properties. But buying a single-family home in South Tampa doesn’t always require a luxury budget. In fact, some highly desirable neighborhoods regularly have homes listed for under $400,000, starting with the following locations…
Once such location is Fairoaks-Manhattan Manor. The area is home to a number of mid-century homes; with single-story options including some recently remodeled homes or those ready for you to leave your own personal touch. The charming residences often feature hardwood floors and some updates, including mature landscaping, all for under $400,000.
North Hyde Park
More great options exist within North Hyde Park. The neighborhood also offers up some mid-century homes, some with three bedrooms and plenty of updates. As well, a $400,000 budget also allows for plenty of outdoor space, including some fenced-in backyards for privacy.
The Palma Ceia neighborhood, in comparison, includes some older as well as some more spacious, new construction homes. It’s possible, though, to find a single-family home here for under $400,000, as Palma Ceia does offer some mid-century designs that have been recently updated. This price point affords mostly two-bedroom homes in this neighborhood.
