Whether you’re a foodie at heart or just someone who likes to casually dine-out occasionally, it’s always fun to try new places that either just opened up or that you’ve never been to before. Over the past summer, a variety of new restaurant openings hit the Tampa area, and a few that definitely caught our attention over the last couple months.

So the next time you’re hungry and feel like venturing out, give one of these new spots a try and let us know what you think!

Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar

Known most for its use of sustainable, organic, and healthy ingredients, Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar only just expanded down into Florida last winter with the opening of the Delray Beach location. Now, there’s also a location over at the International Plaza, and most items on the menu are both under 500 calories and gluten-free! Oh, and there’s also plenty of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from as well!

Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar

Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar has taken over the Blue Martini Lounge space over on Bay Street, which had a strong 15-year run. If the name sounds familiar, it’s probably because Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar already has locations all over South Florida, which include Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Orlando. Most people know Rocco’s for having a whopping 300 types of tequila, and their house made margarita mix is also  quite memorable as well.

Frankie’s Lobstah Teap Raw Bar And Grill

Having originally got its start down in Miami, Frankie’s Lobstah Teap Raw Bar And Grill is also name you might also know as well. But if you haven’t heard of it before, there’s a good chance you'll get to know it soon now that it’s made its debut over on Bay Street. Plenty of local seafood will be offered, and the crispy lobster sandwich is definitely worth a try as well!
