From its historic homes to its nightlife, there’s plenty to see and explore in St. Petersburg's Historic Kenwood neighborhood. And if you're thinking about a move to the area, we've devised a running list of things you’re sure to love about calling Kenwood home...
The Local Nightlife
Located just to the west of Downtown St Petersburg, there’s always something going on in this diverse area. From bars and nightspots to architectural tours and the state’s largest Pride celebration, this vibrant neighborhood is filled with options.
The Historic Homes
Another thing you’re sure to love about Historic Kenwood are all the historic homes you'll find along its quiet, tree-line streets. You’ll find a large number of Craftsman-style bungalows throughout the area, many of which were constructed in the early to mid 1900s and are rich with character. You’ll also find some Colonial Revivals, Prairie homes, Tudor Revivals and more throughout the community.
The Parks
Of course, history isn’t just connected to the older homes and buildings. Historic Kenwood is also home to Seminole Park. The old park offers some greenspace for local residents, plus a playground and a pavilion.
